Behind the lens

Ilana Stevens | Freelance Photographer
Born in 1987 in Meaux, France

I’m a photographer based between France and the UK, passionate about capturing moments and stories that matter. The name walking.focus reflects my belief that great photography comes from moving, staying curious, and paying close attention to the details in the world around us.

While technical skill is essential, my aim is for my photos to do more than just capture a scene, I want them to make you notice something new, to feel like you’re right there, to connect with what you see.

I collaborate with businesses to create visual content that strengthens their brand, whether it’s through commercial shoots, architectural and real estate photography, or food styling. I also photograph exhibitions and collections for museums and cultural organizations, helping bring their stories to life and connect with visitors. Capturing local events and celebrations is another passion of mine, those moments that bring communities together and deserve to be remembered with care and respect.

Photography, for me, is both a skill and a way to connect with people, places, and stories worth telling. Each project is a chance to bring fresh perspective and focus to what makes a subject unique.

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss a project or simply connect over a shared passion for photography.
